Spartan’s investment team is headed by our CIO, Rob Celej, who began his career on the floor of the TSX as an options market maker in the 1980s while he was at Nesbitt Burns. The team’s experience spans a number of different trading methodologies, with particular expertise in option and volatility-related strategies.

Rob Celej, Chief Investment Officer

Rob has been trading equity options and futures on a proprietary basis for over 20 years. Prior to establishing Spartan in May 2006, Rob’s experience included:
